Camping Trip

Here are a few pictures from our Neely Family camping trip we took back in April. We stay in Nectar on Uncle Larry river property and it was beautiful. It was nice to get away from the city life and be in the country even if it was only for a few days we always have so much fun with this side of the family they are so fun to be around. We cant wait until October to go back.

Our Kitchen!!!

Okay so were are finally finished with our kitchen and we LOVE it!! The only thing left to do is to replace the electrical cover (I think we have 3) and get new lighting and we will be all done!!! I am very proud of my Hubby for everything he has done. And a special thanks to Big Daddy, Coy & Cody for helping with the counter tops.. It took us forever to decide on what the back splash was going to be done in and we almost did tile but I like this much better. I took a close up picture of it and it is really cool and no one will have one like our b/c it was special made just for us!!! The brown shelf with tile top turned out really cool as well. It is big enough to put stuff on top of it like your salt & pepper shakers or something like that. Anyway enjoy!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Sunday! The Easter Bunny stopped by our house to drop off a few things for Colby! His basket was packed with Bakugan, Wild Grinders (new Rob Dyrdek figures), cars, Pokemon cards and lots of candy plus he got a basket at his Re-Re's house with all sorts of stuff in it. We spent the morning at our house and then went to Re-Re's house to eat and spend a little time with them.

Montgomery ZOO!!

Montgomery Field Trip

Friday we went on a field trip to Montgomery to visit Old Town Montgomery, The Capitol & Montgomery Zoo. We left the school around 7:00 a.m. and got back around 6:00 p.m.. Chris & I both got the chance to go with Colby and we had a great time. I have never actually been to downtown Montgomery. The buildings are beautiful and the fountain had pink water in it for Breast Cancer Awareness. They even have a hot dog place named Chris'!!! These pictures are from the Capitol and Old Town Montgomery.

My wonderful Hubby!!!

Chris went to Publix to get the balloons blown up and came back home with these!! He had them behind his back and when he showed them to me he said here I got these for you for being such a great mommy & wife... He is the sweetest man I have ever met in my life and I am so very lucky to have him! I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HUBBY!!! (and of course my beautiful flowers)!!!

Colby's 10th Birthday Party!!

Here are a few pictures of Colby 10th Birthday Party!! I was worried to death that it was going to be raining but thank goodness it turned out to be really pretty outside so of course all of the kids got to play around outside. Colby had a great party and of course all he asked for was MONEY and he got A LOT of it!! He wanted money so he could go and buy a Nintendo DS and a new game!! Of course after the party we went straight to Wal-Mart b/c you know that money was burning a hole in his pocket!!! He ended up getting the DS & game he wanted and the game came with a case for the DS so that was great. He even bought more Bakugan (like he needs anymore of those things) and still had money left but he said he was going to wait until he got more money before he bought anything else.. We are very blessed to have such a great kid!!

Oh Friday night after his Soccer game I said Colby in a few hours you would be 10!! He said "Momma I want be 10 until tomorrow"!! Like I was CRAZY! I said yes you are right but it will be tomorrow at 12:00 a.m. and you were born at 12:06 a.m. so you will be 10 at 12:06.. Well we were still up and I said Happy Birthday and all I got was oh thanks Momma! When Chris came upstairs about 10 minutes later he said Daddy guess what I am 10 now and had a big grin on his face!!

Our Birthday Boy!!!

I cant believe that at 12:06 a.m. our little man will be 10!!! It seems like yesterday that we were seeing him for the first time. He is now almost as tall as me I am sure he will pass me and be just as tall as his daddy. We are so thankful that we have him our lives. We have his party planned for tomorrow and I PRAY that it doesn't rain to bad and that the party is great. I am sure if it rains he will still have a great day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBY!!!!

Remodeling the kitchen!!!

We are almost finished remodeling our kitchen. We still have to get our back splash done, the cabinets painted & stained and get new lighting and then we will be completely finished!!!!!! Here is a sneak peek at the almost finished product!

UAB Lady Blazer & Books for Baskets!

Last Friday night we went to another UAB Blazers game to support our school in Books for Baskets. We had a lot of fun and as you can tell by some of the pictures Dylan, Colby & Jacoby were dancing and being silly during half time.
