When it rains it REALLY POORS!!!!!!

Most of you know that my Aunt Ollie has been sick for a while and that we all found out last Tuesday that the Blood Disorder she had did turn into Acute Leukemia, well last night I got that call that I really didn't need from Chris. My cousin Kristy's husband Shane called him and when Chris answered the phone he said please tell me you don't have any bad news.... Well he did have bad news! My Aunt Ollie passed away last night. PLEASE PLEASE pray for my whole family, pray that we will have the strength to get through another loss. Our family has been through enough and I am ready for something positive to happen NOW! My Nana is acting kinda funny about everything and I am really concerned about her. Her, Ollie & Ollie's boyfriend W.A. have spent so much time together for the past 20 or so years they went everywhere together. They If they didn't go to lunch everyday they fixed lunch at Nana's. I know that it is really going to be hard for my Nana. Also please pray for W.A. he is our family and we love him very much and he took such good care of Ollie and they were the perfect pair and pray for my Aunt Kathy she is such a strong and wonderful person. The funeral will be tomorrow so keep us in your prayers as we go to another funeral of someone special to us in 1 week....

PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!

Last night my Grandmother passed away. She was in the hospital about a month ago and was sent home and has just gotten worse. My mom & I were talking last night and I told her that Chris, Colby & I were going to go and see her after church on Sunday and my mom told that she really didn't even wake up much during the time she had went to see her yesterday and that she was not doing good that it was just a matter of time. Well I didn't think that it would be this soon I really wanted to go and see her one last time and I feel so bad that I didn't just take the time and go yesterday. When my cousin Eric called last night my heart just stopped, I knew why he was calling. I was in Colby's room with him playing and my mom asked me to come here and when I got to the room she was in she was crying. Colby came in the room and said Mommy why are you crying?? I had to tell him that Grandmother had gone to Heaven with Pop and he started to cry my poor baby said Mommy she was so nice to me. My heart broke when he said that. Our family has been through so much these past few years with my dad being sick and passing away now my Grandmother and to top it all off my Aunt Ollie that has a blood disease now it has turned into Acute Leukemia and Hospice has been called to her house. My gosh I didn't think things could get any worse for our family but of course it has. My heart is completely BROKEN right now!!!! I miss my dad more than anything in to he world and now my grandmother is gone to.... I know that they are in a better place but I want them both here and I want Ollie to stay here and get better. UGH!!! Please pray for all of our strength during this time and pray for my mom she is really upset.

We are so very excited and proud of Colby..
As some of you know we had a great 1st grade year teacher Stacey Merritt, she was wonderful but our 2nd grade year was a nightmare. It was his teachers 1st full year and all I can say is OMG!!!! We had many talks with her and many talks with the Principal on how could we help Colby . Lets just say that teacher no longer works at Hueytown b/c we weren't the only parents to complain about her. Anyway Now he has Allison Walker and she is GREAT we love her and Colby is really starting to love to read now YEA!!! Chris and I are so very proud of our little man!!!! You might not see it but he also got a G in conduct in reading!!!

SOCCER, SOCCER & MORE SOCCER!!

This is what we have been doing lately, SOCCER, but we love it! Colby has really done good this year. He usually plays Goalie but he also plays Striker and loves playing both positions!! When he is striker he goes after the ball so he is always running around the field, the other night I told him he looked like a ninja b/c he was so fast ans he was everywhere... When he is Goalie he is not afraid of the ball at all and will do anything to get the ball away from the goal.... There have been many times when he has gotten hit in the face, or stomach with the ball and has about giving his daddy & I a heart attack. But as soon as he gets hit Coach Terry is right out there to make sure he is okay and to let me know not to panic and Colby is right back up and doesn't want to take a break I have a tough little man...

The OWL !!!!

The other night on our way home from Soccer practice I noticed something on the top of our neighbors truck and though tit was Garfield our cat and then I saw this OWL!!!! We ran inside and I grabbed my camera and got a few pictures before it flew away. It was Huge and so cool!
