The older he gets the more he looks like his Pop especially if he has anything camo on...
Soccer and a mess.....
This is what we have been doing......
And this is what we get b/c our kids want to play soccer at MLK Park....
Crazy I know! There are still a few people that are not happy that MLK Park has soccer going on... They don't understand that we have several different races, White, Black Asian, Hispanic & bi-racial kids that play on the same teams TOGETHER like it is meant to be... They hold signs up that say SCLS (Southern Christian Leadership Conference) demands justice, some that so Know Justice, Know Peace, No Baseball-No Football & No Soccer... It is a mess but hey these that do play actually all get along and have a great time.. We just hope that in the future things will get better for everyone..

GOD IS GOOD!!!
Chris was offered a job on Friday and accepted it!! Woo Hoo.... We are both super excited about this new adventure he is about to go on. He will be working for a local remodeling company that is owned by 2 very big Christians which is wonderful. They have devotion every Monday morning which we think that is a awesome way to start your work week. We just want to thank all of you for praying that a good job would come his way. It has been a long year for our family from both of us being laid off at the same time, adding Alex into our home and realizing that it was not working for any of us, my mom getting sick and everything else that the devil has tried to throw at us. But GOD is always in control and we just had to trust in him that things would look up for us and they have... We both have jobs now, Alex still gets to spend time with us & my mom is cancer free. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!

Saturday was my hunny's b-day so we decided that we would invite a few friends over to wath the UFC Edgar vs Penn 2 fight. Chris, Angie,Reid, Chunk, Landon, Jerry, Rebecca, Bubba, David & Jessie all came over. It is not very often we all get to hang out with eachother b/c they all live in Warrior. I didnt get any pictures of Colby, Landon & Reid they were to busy running around.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!!!
Today is Chris' birthday and I just wanted to say that I think I have the BEST hubby in the enitre world! He is themost thoughtful and wonderful man I have ever met... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE.... :)

Mom's CT Scan was................................
CLEAR!!!!!!!! Yes I said CLEAR!!
Mom was suppose to have chemo this week but her hematocrit levels were down to 22 so no chemo and she had to have 2 units of blood but she did have her CT scan yesterday @ 8:00 but she went home after it b/c they told her that she would not be seeing Dr. Lasker and if the CT results came back he would call her. Well around 11:00 my phone rang and it was Johnetta (one of the nurses) saying my mom was scheduled to see the Dr. to come up there @ 1:00... Well they didnt have her chart from Radiology yet so Johnetta went and got it and gave it to Dr. Lasker and he looked over it for a few minutes and closed the chart looked at the both of us and said "Well girls, the scan is CLEAR!!! NO MORE CANCER IT IS GONE!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOO... GOD IS GOOD!!! She will still have the last 2 rounds of chemo which she will go next week Mon.-Thur. and some radiation just to be safe... We are so greatful that we got good news yesterday and I am still in shock. I want to thank each and every one that has been praying for our family. PRAYER WORKS!!

1st day of 6th Grade
Yesterday was our baby's 1st day of 6th Grade!! OMG I cant believe that he is at the middle school this year. He has grown up way to fast for me I wish I could slow it all down goodness before we know it he will be graduating from high school.

ENTRANCE FEE $80.00 PER BOAT – EARLY REGISTRATION
$100.00 PER BOAT ON SATURDAY
70% PAYBACK/ payout based on number of boats ($1,000.00 guarantee for 1st place)

RULES:
1. Tournament hours will be from safe daylight till 2:00PM. All boats must be inside of buoy at 2:00pm with boat number announced to weigh fish, or be disqualified.
2. Maximum of two people per boat. Single fishermen are allowed.
3. Order of boat take off will be determined by registration.
4. All fish brought to scales (except trophy bass) will be released.
5. There will be a five (5) bass per boat limit. All fish must be at least 12” long on a golden rule.
6. Only largemouth and spotted bass will be weighed.
7. No alcoholic beverages allowed during tournament or weigh in.
8. No trolling, live bait, jigger poling, or fishing within 50 yards of another boat.
9. Contestants must wear a life jacket and kill switch whenever main motor is running.
10. No locking thru any dam or trailering boat during tournament hours.
11. Tournament committee will inspect all live wells and boats prior to start of tournament.
12. The tournament committee reserves the right to disqualify questionable fish.
13. There will be a 4 ounce penalty per dead fish. Only 2 dead fish per boat can be weighed.
14. Any question not covered by these rules will be decided by the tournament committee. Decision of the committee will be final.
15. All winners must pass polygraph test if committee chooses.
16. You may pre register by mail or register before tournament at the launch.

Mom's Benefit Ride....
Here are some pictures from the benefit ride that went on to help raise money for my mom. As soon as all of the motorcycles started coming down the road I just about lost it... There were so many bikes and people it was crazy! I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped put the benefit together I know it was alot of work and it was great, and thank you to everyone that participated in the day and that have donated money or prizes for my mom. Panama City Beach 2010
Here are some pictures from our July Beach trip. We had a blast, it was beautiful but we had to come back to real life after a week. I could move to the beach and be in heaven but not my hunny! 1 week is enough for him and he is ready to come home.
